Recently I purchased this along with and IBI barrel (chambered in 6x47 Lapua) and all the associated bits to complete a build. Overall the gun functions flawlessly, and is very accurate. While the accuracy and function are the culmination of all the bits, this is what I can tell you about the receiver set:
1) Take down pins have the exact right amount of tension, and the upper and lower have much less play that virtually all AR-15/10 that I have used.
2) the fit between upper and lower line up exceptionally well, and all the pre fit parts have good fit as well.
3) the anodizing is near perfect and it has an exelent finish on all exterior surfaces.
4) the machining is crisp, and there were no burs or machine lines anywhere on my set.
overall I am happy with the price and quality of this, and am going to buy another.
I recently purchased the Stag10 receivers with lower parts kit. So far I am very pleased with what I see, everything looks well done and fits very nicely together. I tried the trigger pull (no worries, I did not let it strike the frame!) and it is very smooth, I think I made a good choice to include the LPT because this way I don’t need to find small parts and pay another $300 for a aftermarket trigger. I have a few more parts on its way, and I look forward to create my rifle; Thank you CTC!
