An open letter to Shopify CEO Tobias Lütke.
As a long time client of Shopify (2011) let me tell you how absolute disappointed we are with you. We are a Canadian business that follows Canadia laws and we thought that supporting another Canadian business was a good idea.
We did seven figures annually in business through your service (where you've gladly taken our "blood money" for the last 6 years). Pre IPO, Post IPO, we championed you and told our friends what a great Canadian tech success story you were.
From one Canadian business to another, shame on you Tobias.
I'll gladly take our dirty money transaction fees and annual subscription back as a refund since our business is so unacceptable to you.
